The Mission
The mission of First Baptist Church Edgewood is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
The Vision
The vision of First Baptist Church Edgewood is to create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the Gospel, as people
come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

FBC Edgewood has been a light to the city of Edgewood for over 135 years.
Jesus said that the greatest commandment is to "love the Lord your God with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your mind...and love your neighbor as yourself."
Here at FBC Edgewood we are about two things: LOVING GOD, and LOVING OTHERS.
We accomplish this through worship of our God on Sunday mornings and equipping our people throughout the week.
